A PAIR OF FRENCH ORIENTALIST POLYCHROME PAINTED SPELTER BUSTS, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, each cast wearing a jeweled headdress above a smiling expression with the man wearing a fur coat over a short collar with a beaded vest and she wearing a coin necklace suspending a tasseled pendant within a draped shawl, each on a spreading rectangular pedestal centering stylized scrolling foliate detailed panels with spade form corner finials on block feet similarly detailed.
