Wonderful patina to this oblong Italian footed brass compote with curled handles 19th century has high relief work on the interior of the bowl.Scalloped crimped edge surrounds the relief in a one inch band. Stands on ornate curled feet connected to the handles at either end and two triangular center feet. Makes any coffee table,chest ,buffet or dining table special whether used as appears or filled with decorative cones,balls,fruit or flowers. Excellent condition. Measures 20L X 7.5D X 3.25H.
