Pair of handsome bisque cherub lamps from France early 1900's show three finely detailed cherubs standing on the column pedestal. One is shown with a small cycle and shift of wheat in hand,one at the base and another as a wheat garland atop his head. Second cherub holds a bird in one hand,the nest with eggs in the other and the third holds a grape cluster and wears a grape and grape leaf garland as well as a second wreath on his head.A bisque leaf canopy sits above all three. Decorative brass base with wonderful patina matching the brass feather finial on each. New linen shades on both. Rewired several years prior and work wonderfully.Measure 31H X 16L X 16D. One tiny crack on a cherub arm many years prior appears to have been professionally repaired and poses no threat. Otherwise,excellent condition.
