French brass planters C.1900 lion heads

Pair of French solid brass planters or jardinieres from C.1900. French lion head on either side with shamrock shaped loop handles. Each marked on the bottom with a "Y". Have been professionally polished taking back to original brightness with a wonderful antique look to the brass as was created many years prior. Good weight and usable size for larger plants or arrangements. Excellent condition. Measure 11.5L X 11D X 7H. Interior opening at top 8.5L,further down in bowl portion 10.5L. Stunning pair.
