Description: Heavy Tibetan silver teapot decorated with exquisite silver ornament hammered in high relief with figural and animal decorations, cloud design and bas relief incised decor on the entire surface. The handle and the spout are decorated with a dragon swallowing the handle or the spout. Buddhist emblems and a lotus bud handle are featured on this exquisite silver teapot. The workmanship is superlative and this silver teapot is very heavy. A suspending silver chain is attached to the teapot. Size: 17.2" X 13" (44 X 33 cm.). Estimated value: $15.000. Very rare museum quality art object!
