19th. century Afghan sword with exquisite decorations

Description: 19th. century afghan sword with chiseled silver scabbard in relief. An Islamic inscription is present on the apical portion of the scabbard chiseled in silver. Single edge blade with fine damascene design. Aged ivory hilt with turquoise and inlaid silver in niello decoration in the distal part. Very rare!! Length: 20.5" (52 cm.). Blade's length: 10.5" (27 cm.). Estimated retail value: $12.000.
Condition: Excellent. No damages.
