Description: Indian miniature painting on ivory plaque representing a Moghul emperor with a concubine. The details are minuscule with high quality of painting. The ivory plaque is carved in open work with incuse floral design. The back of the ivory plaque is decorated with red floral design painting. This miniature painting is a masterwork of Moghul art and very rare. Dimensions: 6" X 4" (15 cm. X 10 cm.). Estimated value: $9.000.
