Empire style tazza of glazed ceramic with a conic shape

Description: Antique Empire style crackle glaze tazza with hand-decorated under-glaze pattern of floral design in a magnificent fashion. Above the tazza, a trumpet shape vase with crenelated, flare top, is displayed on a bronze d'ore base. The frame of the tazza and vase is made from gilded bronze with very intricate decorations. The bottom of tazza is also hand-decorated under the crackle glaze with a floral design, lilies predominant. Heigth: 22"(56 cm.). Diameter at top: 11.6" (29.5 cm.). Estimated value: $13000.
