Description: 19th. century Burmese bible Kammavaka book made from 18 lacquered plaques including the covers and having Pali inscriptions. This is a rare religious book and in very good condition considering its age. Dimensions: 23.5" X 5.9" ( 59.5 cm. X 15 cm.).The book is very rare to be found complete as is our book and when is found in Thailand or Myanmar, usually is incomplete, mostly found as a single plaque. Estimated value: $5.500.
