Description: 19th. century Tibetan silver sword with repousse and hammered decorations. The hilt has a silver wire handle and the pommel carries a trefoil silver repousse decorations with inlaid coral. Repousse and hammered silver decorations with dragon ornate the yak skin scabbard, as well as cabochons of turquoise and coral. The yak skin is encased between an U shaped iron protector edge. Watered single edge blade with a Tibetan inscription on the forte. Length: 25.5" (65 cm.). Blade's length: 18.8" (48 cm.).
