Description: Antique Chinese porcelain vase of rectangular shape with magnificent landscape of river and mountains design and calligraphy. 2 facets feature the lanscape. The other 2 facets represent calligraphy and signature in a red seal. This exquisite porcelain item bears on the bottom the 6 character mark of emperor Dao Guang(1821-1850). There is a possibility that the item dates to early Republic Period. These exquisite decorations of these porcelain items fetched high prices at auctions in China and US due to increased interest of collectors. Height: 8.8" (22 cm.). Width: 2.5" (6.5 cm.).
