Description: Heavy Miao silver neckwear made from articulated 3 parts, with a suspending silver chain. The chain is attached to the upper rectangular part through an incised silver ball and a silver cone. Relief hammered, or repousse ornaments with floral and animal design, decorate this exquisite silver neck wear. The distal part is semi-circle shaped and decorated in relief with repousse and incised ornaments. Miao Chinese minority live in the mountains and have colorful costumes and silver decorations made by skilled silversmiths. Size (not including the chain): 11.4" X 9.5" (29 X 24 cm.). Length(including the chain: 23.6" (60 cm.).
