Description: 19th.-20th. century Indian dagger with 2 side by side inner kard knives. The pommel, hilt and the proximal part of the blade are decorated with inlaid silver with a floral design. The pommel swings away by pressure on a release button to open the inner part that contains the 2 kard knives that slide longitudinally to separate. Both kard knives have the same inlaid silver decorations as the dagger container. Dagger's blade: 8.6" (22 cm.). Kard's blade length: 8.2" (21 cm.). Kard's length:11.8" (30 cm.). Estimated value: $3000.
