Brass Plated Planter with Ancient Greek Ornamentation of Dolphins Riding a Sea Serpent _ Good Antique Condition _ Minor Dents and Loss of Plating_ Circa 1900This unusual brass planter has cast brass reticulated handles depicting symbols from Ancient Greece of a dolphin riding upon a sea serpentÍs back. The rim of the planter has an incised fretwork band and the front of the planter has repeated the ornamentation from the handles in applied reticulated brass.H=17 3/4, W=34
