18th Century Walnut Wood Crib Sides-FranceH=15 1/8, W=15 3/8H=12 7/8, W=14 5/8These beautiful antique French 18th C. French walnut wood baby crib end panels are beautifully hand carved. The motifs are winged cherubs beneath stylized drapery folds, c-scrolls and heart shaped openings for the hands to carry or rock the crib. This pair would have been inset into a walnut wood framework and placed at the ends of a baby crib, which would have had side panels connecting a bottom panel to them. Today, they could be used as decorative wall art, or once again reconstructed into a decorative crib.
