C.1900 Chinese hand made wooden chicken carrier was designed to fit on the back fender of a bicycle to transport chickens from local vendor,home. The four pointed stakes which fit into slots on the floor in center front of each cage are removable making the carrier ideal as a wine rack or bread rack with French styling. Also unique magazine rack.The doors lift at either end. The four interior legs are slightly shorter than the 4 exterior to fit the handlebars yet sits perfectly level on a countertop with the 4 exterior feet. Excellent condition. Measures 21.5L X 17.5H X 15.5D.Also used as a magazine rack.
