French music cabinet 19th century painted over the years in French blue and cream delicate scrolled carving surrounding each of the 4 black recessed panels as well as the scalloped apron on all sides. Oval cream raised carving on front depicting an urn with floral and swags. Ornate cream beading as well under the extended top. Petite hardware and key hole with knob,no lock. Stands on graceful bowed legs. The interior is all mahogany with multiple holes where pegs (a few exist)once supported the 9 shelves,now open compartment. Shelves could easily be replaced if desired.Evidently the exterior mahogany and or oil painting was in less than perfect condition which initiated the painting. Now a striking combination with antiquing or colored wax on the blue making it a perfect side table or cabinet with ample storage. In excellent condition as very little wear to the paint. Measures 32H X 22L X 17.25D.
