Pair of unusual solid bronze ornate wall sconces from France 19th century. Have gorgeous pale yellow and cream ribbon glass fluted shades with iridescent pink interiors. When lit the glass gives off stunning hues of color. Originally not wired as mid 19th century yet acquired many years ago by a couple remodeling,had them polished and wired to American currency and never used. Fabulous protruding oval back plates with decorative edging and scrolled deep bronze arms with ornate styling. The pair in excellent condition,no nicks or chips to the glass and very minor wear to the bronze. Measure 12H X 9D projection X 4.75 across.
