Heavy copper hand forged teapot or tea kettle from the 1750's era and made in the New England colonies of the US.Has large movable handle attached with hand made heavy copper head irregular sided bolt and black plug. Could be hung easily. The spout end is elongated giving a swan like appearance to the entire spout. Lid with large loop handle fits securely. Excellent condition and quality on the exterior and minor darkening with water use to the interior. Whether every day use on the stove or as a decorative accent or filled with flowers,it is sure to grace any home while honoring our forefathers. Measures 10.5H with handle,5.5W X 9.5L.
