French Brass Frame Oval 19th Century

Lot Passed

French brass oval frame with glass has tiny bead design surrounding the picture with ribbon design on the outer edge. Acanthus wreath on top with flowing bow and ribbon. Solid brass backplate and easel with the date "1847" in the apron of an incised woman in long dress on back. Excellent condition,has not been polished. 5.25H X 4.5L X .50D. Photo size 4L X 3.75H.
