Signed Oil Portrait On Wood Framed C.1900

Unusual haunting portrait of a very distinguished gentleman on wood C.1900. The oil is under glass in the frame probably added later to preserve. At one time the piece must have been hung unframed as 2 tiny nail holes visible at the bottom edge inside the glass. Detailing is perfection in capturing the gray haired man with white beard in suit and red tie. The eyes alone speak to you along with all facial features. Signed on lower right although worn appears to be "April Comui". Framed in an antique gold frame with linen 5/8 inch liner. Excellent condition overall. Measures 14H X 12L X .75D. This frame could be placed inside a larger frame for a more stunning display.
