Hand Thrown Vase Pottery Dual Handles Signed 20th C

American 20th century earthenware vase was created by a very talented potter. Signed on the bottom with what appears to be "WAP" and a series of large diagonal lines. Expertly thrown,symmetrical and proportionate in every area with gorgeous coloring. Pinched square opening rimmed in brown,complete interior a pale blue with dark blue/green "runs" at the throat. Two gold brown bands surround the neck,shading to a deep blue green,followed by light blue and ending with lavender. A stirred effect of the colors throughout the vase,quite hard to achieve. Small brown handles echo the rim. Well fired and glazed interior and exterior which adds a wonderful sheen to the vase. Excellent condition,no nicks,chips or cracks. Measures 9.5H X 5.5D X 5.5L.
