Large ornate bronze finial 19th century from France is mounted on a black wooden square dome capital with bits of deep red peeking out below,either mounted years prior or originally. The four cross bar supports along with the hollow dome interior structure of 5/8 inch wood make it perfect for a dome or topper on a piece of furniture or architecturally used,a stair turn well,paper weight or a wonderful decorative accent piece. Excellent condition. Measures 11H X 5.5L X 5.5D.
