Top Hat Box Leather No Lid Tooling 19th Century England

Mahogany toned gentleman's leather top hat box without lid comes from England C.1850-65. Wonderful deep red mahogany leather shield design on the front with crown and decorative gold tooling. As it no longer has a lid,makes an excellent planter,magazine rack,wastebasket or any number of other decorative uses. Missing a few bits of leather and scuffed a bit as seen adding to it's character. Measures 13L X 11.5D X 9H.
