Legal size crocodile leather portfolio or attache case from France 19th century is in remarkable condition. Minute wear at the fold and couple tiny darker spots on the interior,otherwise excellent. Handsome exterior skin in honey camel with darker brown tones inside of each circle.The center front and back raised leather more so on the front so that it lays flat. Edged and stitched in camel leather. The interior,in smooth camel leather offers a full length compartment on one side topped by an envelope style compartment and flap on top with decorative closure. The other side has three full length compartments,one zippered,one with scalloped edge and leather pull,one plain. An exquisite piece in fine condition. Measures 15L X 11W X 1D.
