Gorgeous dual caned balloon back settee early 1900's with 6 legs and scrolled frame in fruitwood. Graceful arms and turned legs. Rich green with hint of blue velvet covers the seat with two wide sections of stunning tapestry,hand worked. The center of each back displays additional needlepoint tapestry in 2 shades of green,gold,rose,deep rose,mauve black and cream,all blending perfectly with the stunning velvet. Springs are tight,padded just right so that seating extremely comfortable,the needlepoint on the back padded fitting a person's back very well. No breaks or sags in the cane,minute spots of worn finish color. The settee and fabric in excellent condition,no signs of wear in either velvet or needlepoint. A stunning addition to any room. Measures 39.75H X 20D X 43L with seat height at 21 inches from floor.
