Most unusual tall delicate toned 18th century French vanity all hand made and hand painted with green floral and cream swags on the curved sides either side of the drawer with antique brass original hardware. Unique slanted drawer slides also show the age bracket.The background is antique light cream with natural wood band around the top edge.Painted blue/green wider band on top . Cheval oval mirror tilts on brass hardware and surrounded with additional hand painting. Small slot trough for storing additional items open on the front and hand painted as well. Carved harp back below with turned spindle legs and gilt outline. Floral shelf on bottom and stands on small wooden feet. Excellent stability with minor wear to background paint on the top in particular,all floral intact. Two minor age cracks on mirror frame which are tight and only seen on close inspection. Measures 64H X 8.5D X 17.5L. Stunning in person. Just the right height for using standing,tall mirror accommodates all heights of women.Couple tiny spots of wear to the original mirror.
