Beautiful 19th century hand carved gilt table from France. The marble top with unusual coloring,antique cream background,tan,amber,cream and tiny veining in dark brown blends with any decor coloring. Open work acanthus and shell carving on the deep apron and high cabriole legs with escargot feet. The same design on all four sides so that can be used out in a room with a chair as a small desk as well as making a statement behind a sofa or against a wall. The original gilding shows tiny bit of the old red base beneath. Excellent condition with no cracks,chips or scratches and very stable.Measures 41L X 31H X 16D.
