Size: 9.75" x 9.75" x 8" Weight: 7lbs 15oz Condition: Excellent Irving Boker was a internationally known artist who lived and worked on Long Island. His graphic design and illustration background developed a versatility that expresses itself in a diversity of subjects and mediums from oils, watercolor, pastel, and sculpture and many have come with major recognition and awards. His paintings and sculpture have appeared in the Intrepid Museum, the President George Bush Library and television including Law and Order and the Home Shopping Network, the Grand Central Gallery, New York World’s Fair, Salmagundi, Fisher House, Seaport Gallery, Frisch Gallery, Pastel Society, Audubon Artists, Allied Artists of America, International Treasury of Fine Art, Bergdorf Goodman, National Arts Club, National Academy and many corporate and non-profit organizations. Among many commissions were Albert Einstein, Winston Churchill and W.C. Fields. Indian Children completed in Mexico owned by Mr. & Mrs. Richard Nixon. Winner of Professional Sculpture Award by Knickerbocker Artists. Bronze portrait of Golda Meir owned by the State of Israel, State Archives, Jerusalem.
