Desk, Labeled Colonial Co., Mahogany, Circa 1910

Desk constructed of mahogany, mahogany veneer and satinwood veneer inlays with oak secondary wood. Delicate brass, patterned cutout rail, crests a platform of semi-circular drawers each a portion of the arc. Individually fashioned as each will only fit in its respective opening. Five front facing drawers below the original tooled-leather writing surface. The whole supported by delicate fluted Hepplewhite style legs. Circa 1910. Retains the original label Colonial Manufacturing Co., Zeeland, Michigan and stating 'Artistry in Mahogany'.
