Oil on Canvas painting portrait of an Indian Chief in full headdress. A brave rides horseback in the distance by F. Bodis, Hungarian, born 1915. According to the label attached on verso from W. T. Burger Co. Inc.(founded 1946), Bodis studied at the School of Fine and Applied Arts (Budapest). Also studied with Desi-Huber Istvan. On several occasions he traveled to Austria and America. He also lectured at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences on fine art especially painting.
