Oil on Linen, Saint Peter, 16th century Italy. Saint Peter is seated upon a throne, and carries two keys in his left hand while issuing a benediction with his right hand. Painting has "S. Pietro" lettering at the bottom that had faded considerably. No artist signature or date of creation is found. This is a very interesting and old painting of Saint Peter, and would look stunning in an aged gold frame.

Condition: craquelure, small puncture hole damage to canvas on left side and in four corners where canvas is nailed to stretcher underneath.
