Watercolor on paper painting "Boston Commons" at Park St. Station by Charles H. Demetropoulos, American 1912-1976. This work was posthumously exhibited at the The Boston Guild of Artists in 1990. Dated 1974. In 1634, Boston Commons became the first public park in America.

This work was exhibited at the Guild of Boston ArtistsExhibition of watercolors by C. Demetropoulos, on March 20-April 19.1990. Member: Guild of Boston Artists; Boston WC Soc.; Copley Society; Rockport Art Assoc.; Cape Cod Art Assoc.; Ogunquit Art Assoc.; Artists Equity. The artist was known as "Mr. Copley Square" Charles Demetropoulos won two prizes at the Jordan Marsh Exhibition in 1941 and 1951. He is listed in Artists of the Rockport Art Association(1956) and in Who's Who in American Art.
