Plate, Satsuma, Japanese made. This is a very fine Japanese Satsuma plate. It is most likely a Meiji Era(1900) piece because of the heavy use of gold and intense enamel work, as well as the intricate geometric patterns on the borders. The gold also appears to be Mercury fired. The enamel work and wave design is a fine unique touch.

Condition: Very good condition, comes with wall hanger attachment.
