Chrysler 1929 Series 75, 4 Door Sedan. A special order sedan, one of 8 cars created in 1929 and sent to the Locke Co. which modified the auto to a convertible under the design of Chrysler. Most others were rumble seat sedans. A typical Chrysler of that year was priced at around $300. but this special order car cost an estimated ten times as much. The Dusenberg, Brewster, Auburn and Cords had not yet been marketed and Walter Chrysler wanted to have the best on the market with this car, even though the company lost money on all of these. This auto has the Locke tag on the cowl of the passenger side. Wood spoked wheels 18" tires, spare tire and bumpers. One resides in the Walter Chrysler Museum collection,
