Colt S.A. Army 45 caliber SN 109465, 4.75" barrel, nickeled with hard rubber grips. This gun was made in 1884 and is all original and matching. Well used, grips are worn and 5-10% of original nickel is present. Gun is good overall with partial panel scene "Frontier Six Shooter" visible on left side of barrel. Markings otherwise fine including barrel address, serial numbers, and patents on frame. Gun overall is brown, uncleaned with pitting, but mechanically sound and functioning. Colt Army Single Action Revolver serial #109465, 1884, shipped to Harry & Graham, NY 1884. Letter accompanying this lot from the Colt Industries, Firearms Division, 150 Huyshope Avenue, Hartford, CT 06102, dated 8-19-1974 and signed by M. S. Huber, Historian for Colt. Matching serial numbers evident upon various components, and a heavily worn nickel finish as well as worn original hard rubber pistol grips. The 4.75" barrel has a faintly evident "Six Shooter" inscription. Provenance: Miki and James J.
