Socket Bayonet & Scabbard, U.S. - produced for the government by the Watervliet Arsenal of Watervliet, NY for use in WWII. Incised with 'Watervliet Arsenal' above the 'U.S' button emblem and incised ' T. Boyd' on the back and 'G.R.' on t he hanging loop. The bayonet is stamped '3944'
