US Army USMC WWII M-1944 Axe, Marked: "U.S.-Plumb 1944". Single bit camp hatchet. Genuine plumb ax head. Has original WWII olive drab web scabbard with wire belt mount. A scarce collectable single bit hatchet.

Blade: 3.5" x 5.5" x 1" thick
Weight: 1lbs 14oz
Condition: Very good noting some fraying to back edge of cloth scabbard, portion of the wedge is metal, dings from hammering and use.
