29 - Cream used Marshall cabinet (with LOA)

Sign In to see what this sold for

Jack Bruce's Marshall speaker cabinet used with Cream
A circa 1967 / 68 Marshall 4X12 angle-fronted speaker cabinet model 1960A with "basket weave" grill cloth, dark green Tolex covering, metal side handles and solid wood back panel with four Celestion "green back" G12M speakers.
This cabinet was owned and used by Jack Bruce during his time with Cream. After Cream broke up, Bruce gave several of his Marshall cabinets with blown speakers, including this one, to Pete Brown, who had co-written with Bruce the classic hits such as Sunshine Of Your Love and White Room. Brown had the speakers replaced in 1969 and used them for his music projects since. The cabinet has been modified over the years but is in good working order.

The cabinet is accompanied by a letter from Pete Brown confirming the cabinet's provenance and detailing several of the modifications made to it by various bands it was loaned to including Cold River Lady.

Upon bidding it will be deemed that you have read and fully understood Cooper Owen's Terms and Conditions and Summary of Charges. These can be found on ebay and Cooper Owen's website. Please note that all terms outlined on Cooper Owen's website take precedance.
