Gouache on paper painting, "Storming Iwo Jima Pillbox". A company of infantrymen attack a pillbox full of enemy soldiers. One soldier is using a flame thrower, while the others are getting ready to attack. Very detailed and skillful painting of this deadly day in military history. This painting was formerly on exhibit at the Intrepid Sea Air Space Museum 2005.
