Dagger of Venetian or Dalmatian origin, dated 1731. With blade of tapering triangular section with pierced narrow fullers on each side, the gilt silver hilt with strongly down-turned quillons having rope moldings, spirally fluted ovoidal pommel, side-ring set with five turquoises, leading to a filigree work crown set with a coral. Original silver wire-bound grip with Turk's head ends, in the original silver scabbard engraved with foliage, dated 1731 and terminating in gilt silver bolsters.
