Cane - 'Mexico', snake & eagle, early 1900s

Antique vintage cane - Carved 'Mexico' into the cedar shaft with snake wrapping around the shaft, eagle with another snake in its mouth and other symbols. Probably carved in recognition of the Mexican Revolution that began in 1910 and toppled dictator Porfirio Diaz. Carved and painted tip to simulate a metal tip.
