Nautical Lithograph on paper, hand colored, of the Steamship
" State of New York" of the Hartford & New York Line. Printed by Endicott & Co. from a work by Charles Parsons. The "State of New York" was built in Brooklyn in 1860 at a cost of approximately $300,000. by Messrs. Poillon. Well presented in a walnut frame with archival matting also with gold liner. Printed circa 1860.
On the verso is mounted a receipt from the Hartford New York Line dated May, 1872.

Condition: Not laid down, mark from previous mat under present mat, light toning and some small wrinkles in paper. Full margins under mat.
