US Flag, P.O.W. made, WWI, Signed - this is a very rare American flag that was made and signed by the Prisoner of War who made it. He was more than likely held in one of the German POW camps during that time, and managed to make this flag out of found fabrics and scraps. Signature is difficult to make out, could possibly be "V. Malloy".
Provenance: Miki and James J. Mangan III of Fairfield, CT
Size: 5.7" L x 67.5" H
Weight: 12 oz
Condition: fair condition, the fabric has aged and there are several rips and areas of fabric missing. the color has faded, and there is aging evident.
