Old African Luba RARE bowl figure, Mask Mulungo Style. Magnificent Luba Bowl figure. It was carved with great attention for detail. Made by a skilled carver and in the tradition from Mulongo area. A mother figure overlooks one child prone on her lap lid while another suckles her breast. The bowl has petrified caolin inside.
Size: 8.5" x 11.75" x 22"
Weight: 16lbs
Condition: Flaws noted include burn marks on the object held in her hand, wear and possible chip on toe of child on the lid.
