Bridle, Bit & Reins - Early 20th century. Aluminum bit with elaborate engraving, marked "Crockett" on inside surface. Leather bridle has brass appointments, and a checkerboard pattern stamped onto the leather surfaces. The long leather reins also have the stamped checkerboard surface finish.
Provenance: Miki and James J. Mangan III of Fairfield, CT Size: Reins: L. 81" Bit: L. 6.25" x W. 8.5" Weight: 1lb 10oz Condition: very good, aluminum bit is shiny. Brass medallions and fittings are tarnished and aged. Leather is in good condition with some minor rub wear. Condition reportvery good, aluminum bit is shiny.
