Horse Bridle Bit & Reins, Crockett, brass rosettes

Bridle, Bit & Reins - Early 20th century. Aluminum bit with elaborate engraving, marked "Crockett" on inside surface. Leather bridle has brass appointments, and a checkerboard pattern stamped onto the leather surfaces. The long leather reins also have the stamped checkerboard surface finish.
Provenance: Miki and James J. Mangan III of Fairfield, CT

Weight: 1lb 10oz
Condition: very good, aluminum bit is shiny. Brass medallions and fittings are tarnished and aged. Leather is in good condition with some minor rub wear.
