Prostitute's Pistol, Colt #3 Derringer, .41 Caliber - With an Indian beaded, custom holster. Circa 1880-85. Boldly marked COLT across the top of the barrel. A nice firearm with an incredible beaded holster, and quite the story behind its past use. The belt size is either for a larger thigh or a wasp waist woman.
Provenance: Miki and James J. Mangan III of Fairfield, CT
Size: 27" L x 6.75" W
Weight: 11lb 2 oz
Condition: very good, pistol has natural wear and tarnish, beaded leather belt and holster is excellent.
