Aztec Stone Seated Figure with arms wrapped around the upraised knees. The rounded face has wide open eyes, well defined ears, open mouth and braided hair over the crown and down the back of the head. Possibly a depiction of Xochipilli, the "Prince of Flowers" in gray mixed granite stone with remains of burial patina. The type of stone statue was often placed in shrines with various ritual objects associated in their context. Invisible repair to chip on face.
