Imperial Russian silver enameled Plique a Jour triptych egg. Has a hand painted wooden removable plaque set to interior depicting mother and child with silver frame. Egg opens to front with hinged triptych design and latch to front. Stunning Plique a Jour enameled design to the two front doors. Holds town marks, 84 silver purity marks, and Pavel Ovchinnikov workmaster marks to egg, latch, bale and picture frame. Measures 5 1/4" height x 3 3/4" diameter (13.3cm x 9.5cm). Weighs 12.6ozt/391 grams.
