Pond Model of a schooner having a correctly shaped hull and details including, deck houses, main stays, light boxes, life boat at davits, original sails and the original paint surface. Painted white and green which has aged to an appealing color with fine craquelure. Deck is lacquered bright work with desirable alligatored finish. Carved billet head completes the presentation. Maine, 19th century. A spectacular model in nearly 100% original state with original stand. Size: H. 45 3/4" x L. 62" x W.11" Weight: 22lbs Condition: excellent with some minor rigging being replaced
